An interesting history program that I found in the Rensselaer County Advertiser is below:
History Camp at Crailo State Historic Site
July 24-28, 2017 Summer Sampler History Camp is a week long morning program for 6-12 year olds from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Each day of the week will focus on a theme of colonial life in the Hudson River Valley. We will have two different groups for age appropriate activities lead by Crailo staff and special guest interpreters. 6-8 year olds will use storytelling, crafts and games to learn about history; while 9-12 year olds will see demonstrations and use hands on activities, games and crafts. Snacks and water will be provided each day.
$10 per child/per day or $7 per child/per day for Friends of Fort Crailo members. Please call 518.463.8738 for reservations - limited spots are available.
