Follow Up to Throwback Thursday
The above photo published last week is of a bus wreck that occurred in the 1950s or 1960s. It is located on Route 443 near the Town of Berne just past the intersection of Routes 443 and 85. A cousin of mine mentioned that he heard that a couple of people died in the crash and that the wreck would not be removed and that it remains as a memorial. After conducting a brief search I could not verify this information. It might be local lore?
