Genealogy Event at the Clifton Park - Halfmoon Public Library

The Clifton Park - Halfmoon Public Library is hosting an upcoming genealogy program on 24 February 2020 from 1pm - 3pm. The library now has access to the New England Historic & Genealogical Society American Ancestors Database. The site is a wealth of information and is not just for New England Research.

The program will highlight the library's four genealogical databases that are available for use in the library for its patrons. Databases include:

  • African American Heritage
  • American Ancestors
  • Ancestry Library Edition
  • HeritageQuest Online

Less Than One Month to Go : RootsTech 2020

Yes, time is flying by. Soon RootsTech 2020 will be here. February 26th through the 29th in Salt Lake City, UT. If you have not secured your tickets, hotel, and airline travel, time is running out.



The keynote speakers and entertainment are now finalized.

  • Thursday, February 27th, the keynote speaker is Leigh Anne Tuohy, the real-life Mom from the movie, The Blind Side.

  • Friday, February 28th, the evening event features comedian Ryan Hamilton, who has been featured on Conan, The Tonight Show, and The Late Show.

  • Saturday, February 29th, the keynote speaker is Pro Football Hall of Famer, Emmitt Smith!
