The Texas State Genealogical Society has opened registration for its upcoming week-long Texas Institute for Genealogical Research (TIGR). This year the Institute will be held virtually on June 13-18, 2021. Attendees will learn from nationally known genealogical experts in a classroom-like atmosphere.
Four courses are available to choose from!
- DNA Fundamentals for Genealogy, by Patti Lee Hobbs, CG
- Advanced Southern Research: Western Expansion and Families of the South, by J. Mark Lowe, CG
- African Americans in the South, Ari Wilkins
- From Spanish Rule to Republic: Research in the Lone Star State, by Kelvin L. Meyers and Colleen Robledo Greene
